I love this zine! The author talks about gender dysphoria, wearing a binder for the first time, dealing with sexual assault, and misadventures in polyamory. They also talk about growing up in trailer parks and being from the Midwest.
It’s really refreshing and honest to hear someone talk about ways in which they’ve screwed up and what they’ve learned. I’m also super psyched to read a zine by a working class Midwest queer- we don’t get to share our stories as much, and they don’t always fit the dominant narrative of what it means to be LGBTQ.
Bonus- lots of drawings of cute animals, floral collages, and a cursive typewriter (I think I have the same one!).
Check it out now in the NNR store!
